Ministry Focus
Karmann was appointed in May 2017 serving as an intern with Campus Ambassadors at Linn-Benton Community College. She then transferred to Western Oregon University and continued an internship there. Over her four years in college, she realized through serving Christ everyday that her giftings and abilities were best utilized in a ministry setting. She enjoys building up student leaders with the intention of helping them discover all that God has for them. Karmann believes college is a crucial time when students search for and find their identity. Her goal is to help bring students into Christian community where they can discover their identity in Christ. She now serves as a lead campus minister at Western Oregon University.
Faith Story
Being raised in a split household and moving often, she went to ten different public schools and couldn’t attend church regularly. It wasn’t until the sixth grade when her family moved to Oregon City that she experienced a permanent church home. She began to attend youth group regularly and truly live her life for Christ. After graduating high school, Karmann actively sought to establish a Christian community in her new environment and during Welcome Day on campus, she found Campus Ambassadors. Through the adversity Karmann faced in her youth, she learned that we are all just sojourners here and she found her comfort and permanent home in the Kingdom of God.
